Goss Graphic Systems To Cut Corporate Staff by 25%

Press release from the issuing company

WESTMONT, IL (June 4, 2001) – Goss Graphic Systems, Inc. announced today that it would realign its corporate and Americas staff and reduce overall headcount at its Westmont, IL headquarters by approximately 25%. The organizational realignment will further improve Goss’ responsiveness to market demands and customer needs. The workforce reduction, which affects both salaried and hourly jobs, will simplify process flow associated with manufacturing and customer service. It will also position Goss to remain cost competitive in the uncertain economic environment of the North American market. In addressing these actions, Richard Sutis, President, said, “Goss has made great strides over the past several years in refining and focusing our global product portfolio and streamlining our business. These additional changes reflect both improved practices and a shift in product mix. As always, Goss is committed and fully resourced to deliver superior products and services to our worldwide customer base.”
