Ricoh to Distribute T/R Systems Products In Hong Kong

Atlanta, GA - June 6, 2001 - T/R SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ: TRSI), a leader in developing innovative solutions for the management and production of digital documents, today announced a distribution relationship with Ricoh Hong Kong, Ltd. in which Ricoh Hong Kong will immediately begin distributing and supporting T/R Systems' products, including the MicroPress(r), MicroImager(tm) and e-Ticket(tm), in Hong Kong, with planned expansion into mainland China.

The combination of the MicroPress with the Ricoh Aficio 700 has received a 5-Star award (the highest award possible) and the MicroPress with the Ricoh Aficio 850 has received a 4-Star award from BERTL, an independent organization that tests digital document imaging systems and related products (www.bertl.com).
