Totowa, NJ, May 9 - Pitman Company today announced the promotion of Steve Raboin, formerly Senior Vice President, Division Sales, to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Raboin will be responsible for leading the company's division sales initiatives, corporate and branch operations, and national service and support. In addition, he will supervise the newly created position of Director, Strategic Business Development, which will be filled by end of June. Raboin reports to Joe Demharter, Pitman President and Chief Executive Officer. Raboin succeeds H. Kent Smith, who passed away at the end of April. Steve joined Pitman in January 1999 as Vice President, National Accounts after 21 years with Agfa. At Agfa, he held a variety of sales and sales management positions, including National Sales Manager, EPS, and his most recent position as Director of National Accounts and Newspaper Sales. Raboin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
