May 3, 2001 MAN Roland Inc. has appointed Eric D. Belcher its Chief Financial Officer for North American operations. Belcher will be responsible for the financial performance of the company. He replaces Birgit Kuhn who is returning to Germany to take another position with MAN Roland. Belcher comes to MAN Roland from Marakon Associates, an international management consulting firm, where he was a Senior Manager. He worked at Marakon's offices in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago assisting major corporations in developing corporate and business unit strategies that maximize growth and profit potential. "I am proud to be part of MAN Roland, a company known for its technology, advanced products and success in the market worldwide," said Belcher. "I am looking forward to helping with our continuing expansion in the North American market." In addition to his finance background, Belcher brings significant sales and marketing experience to his new position. Prior to joining Marakon, he worked in brand management, marketing and sales management for Procter & Gamble and the E & J Gallo Winery. Belcher holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
