May 4, 2001 MAN Roland has appointed Jan Hommema District Sales Manager Central Region with sales responsibility for MAN Roland's full line of new sheetfed presses, and Baumann, Wohlenberg and Sugano products in Minnesota, North and South Dakota and parts of Iowa and Wisconsin. Hommema has 20 years experience in the graphic arts and printing industries, having held sales and management positions in both North America and Europe. He joins MAN Roland from Xerox Commercial Printing Division, Minneapolis, where he served in sales positions for the past five years. "My intent is to listen to the customers in my territory, build long term relationships and become a serious and valued business partner for them," said Hommema. "I am looking forward to sharing my experience and supplying printers with the latest MAN Roland technology for their businesses." Hommema, who has resided in the US for eight years, holds a bachelor's degree in graphic arts and printing from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
