May 2, 2001 (Minneapolis, Minnesota) VIDAR Systems Corporation, a leading provider of wide-format document scanning solutions, will demonstrate their new easy to use scan control software TruScan2 at Reprographics 2001 in Minneapolis, MN (Booth #515). Scanning has never been easier with TruScan2 operating a wide-format VIDAR scanner. VIDAR's TruScan2 is an easy to use, yet powerful scan-to-file software program. Now you can scan your large color or black & white documents quickly and save them in over 60 file formats. This software is comprehensive, flexible and has an intuitive control panel. All that is needed to start scanning is to set the document size (ISO, ANSI or automatic) and click the green scan button. The features that are used most often such as document size; image type (color or B&W), resolution, etc. are located on the control panel window, which is always visible. Navigating to your image folder is easily accomplished by using the TruScan2 explorer window which is simple to use due to it's Windows Explorer like operation. TruScan2 will be shipping June 1, 2001 with all VIDAR scanners and best of all, TruScan2 is available free of charge.
