DigitalWork Names John Banta Chief Operating Officer

CHICAGO, April 30 - DigitalWork, Inc., the leader in seamlessly integrating online partners, vendors and customers, today announced the promotion of John Banta to chief operating officer from senior vice president of corporate development. In his new position, Banta is responsible for managing all day-to-day operating activities including: marketing, sales, customer operations and information technology. Prior to this position, Banta was responsible for formulating and executing DigitalWork's corporate strategy regarding mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases and joint ventures. In addition, Banta led DigitalWork's business development efforts that resulted in gaining over 35 world-class customers such as America Online, Wells Fargo, PR Newswire, Office Depot and Dell.
