CreoScitex InSite Connects Packaging Converters and Customers Via Internet

Press release from the issuing company

CMM 2001 Chicago, IL (April 23, 2001) - CreoScitex™, a division of Creo Products Inc. (NASDAQ: CREO; TSE: CRE) is demonstrating InSite, powerful Internet tools for Prinergy™ Powerpack, the innovative workflow for packaging prepress, at the Converting Machinery/Materials Exposition International in Chicago from April 23-26. InSite is an integrated suite of Internet tools that enables packaging printers/converters and tradeshops to provide their customers with the ability to submit compressed, encrypted files and forms via the Internet, check job status, perform remote proofing, approve or reject forms, and to submit change requests simultaneously over the Web. InSite significantly reduces the time it takes for packaging print buyers and tradeshops/printers/converters to proof, correct and approve a job. InSite allows customers to download a reduced resolution proof or a full resolution master for proofing, upload new or annotated files, and submit multi-file packages for prepress production. InSite also allows Prinergy Powerpack users to collaborate online by viewing the full resolution production data. Participants located anywhere in the world can simultaneously view files or forms, take measurements, annotate content, and view each other's annotations in real time and chat simultaneously.
