KPT Goes Hi-Tech Color with a Scitex VersaMark

Press release from the issuing company

4/27/01 - KPT, Inc. has acquired new Scitex VersaMark BCP42 Business Color Press, the newest technology in high speed, variable digital imaging, with 4-color process. The International Association of Digital Imaging Professionals named it the Technological Innovation of the Year for 2000. KPT President, Tim Oldenburg, stated, "The VersaMark BCP42 positions KPT to serve our existing clients more efficiently as well as open new market areas for our firm. Only four other service bureaus in the world have this technology, and only KPT is large enough to provide the volume and speed needed by our existing and potential customers, yet small enough to provide one-on-one client service." KPT is the first service bureau in the nation, and the first company in the Southwest to utilize this multi-million dollar printer. KPT expects installation and training to be completed by June 1. KPT, Inc., one of the first electronic service bureaus of its kind, was founded 24 years ago by Nancy Creamer Pyka, current President Emeritus, and Kurt J. Pyka, now CEO and Chairman of the Board. Since its inception, they envisioned KPT to be a responsive resource for high quality computerized print production nationwide. KPT is a turnkey business printing and mailing source providing high volume, high quality laser imaging, data processing and pre-processing, high speed intelligent/selective inserting, forms design and production, as well as format conversions and digitization services.
