INg Goes Global at Hunkeler Innovation Days

Leading trade association reaches out to international audience

The Imaging Network Group carried its message of efficiency and productivity with transactional documents to the world at Hunkeler Innovation Days, February 27 through March 2 in Lucerne, Switzerland.

INg’s participation at this landmark event is just one part of its drive for new international members as it seeks to share the proven ideas and practices of its members and discuss the common needs of transactional and direct mail print providers around the world. Underscoring INg’s growing global stature, Daniel Erni, Managing Director of Hunkeler, will be speaking at the INg Spring Forum in Nassau, Bahamas April 13-15, 2023.

INg President Fred Van Alstyne and fellow Board of Trustees members Eric Hollingsworth of RevSpring; Gretchen Renaud from PrintMail Solutions; Jennifer Dietz of FSSI; and Jon Dietz also of FSSI, President Emeritus of the INg Board of Trustees. traveled to Lucerne see the latest imaging and finishing trends and technologies. including

“It was exciting to see so many North American attendees, especially the strong showing from INg,” said Eric Hollingsworth, VP of Operations at RevSpring, based in Nashville, TN. “A special thanks goes out to INg partner, Standard Finishing and Mark Hunt, for the invitation to attend HID and the hospitality they provided.”

Solimar Systems and Standard Finishing, two of ING’s nineteen partner companies, also attended the biennial conference. “Innovation Days was a home run with companies from all over the world gathering for a week of learning and networking” said Mary Ann Rowan, CXO at Solimar Systems. “We were thrilled to have some INg partners in Lucerne. We had had kiosks in Screen’s and HP’s stands where we demonstrated how our workflow software capabilities benefit our partners' print and finishing devices.”

“Innovation Days is more focused, intimate, and application-oriented than ordinary trade shows,” said Mark Hunt, Director of Strategic Alliances at Standard Finishing, the U.S. distributor for Hunkeler and Horizon finishing systems. “This year’s event was a showcase for over 50 different solutions and I was pleased to see our INg partners at HID because the group presents a lot of value to our industry and added to the depth of participants at the event.”

“Printing hardware and software are just better at the base of snow-covered Swiss Alps on the banks of Lake Lucerne,” said Hollingsworth. “Innovation Days proved to be a highly valuable, compact show, that cultivated learning and networking on an international level.”
