MAIL-WELL ANNOUNCES NEW CEO OF COMMERCIAL PRINT GROUP

Englewood, CO -- Mail-Well, Inc. (NYSE: MWL) announced today that David W. Blue has joined their organization as CEO and President of Mail-Well Commercial Print Group, a $900 million business segment of Mail-Well. Paul Reilly, Mail-Well's President and COO, said, "We are pleased to have Dave leading the commercial print group. The combination of his executive management and marketing skills, together with the operational skills of the current print group team, strengthens Mail-Well's ability to grow market share and increase profits." Most recently, Mr. Blue served as President of USFI, the $1 billion Specialty Ingredient Division of ConAgra. His career has included 15 years at Kraft Foods where he was Vice President, Marketing and Vice President, Finance for Kraft Cheese, as well as President of Churny Company, a Kraft subsidiary which he grew eightfold in four years. Mr. Blue also spent four years with Stella Foods as President of Stella Cheese and Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Stella Foods. From 1995-1998 he was President and Owner of O'Boisie Corporation. Mr. Blue is relocating to the Corporate Headquarters of Mail-Well in Englewood, Colorado. Mail-Well specializes in four fast-growing, multibillion-dollar market segments of the highly fragmented printing industry: commercial printing, envelope, label and printed office products. Mail-Well currently has more than 15,60 employees and more than 140 printing facilities and numerous sales offices throughout North America and the United Kingdom. Reporting 1999 sales of $1.85 billion, Mail-Well has a revenue run rate of $2.4 billion.
