American Reprographics Named One of 200 Best Small Companies

Press release from the issuing company

WALNUT CREEK, CA, Oct 20, 2008 -- American Reprographics Company, the nation's leading provider of reprographics services and technology, today announced that Forbes magazine ranked the company on its "200 Best Small Companies in America" list. In its second consecutive appearance, the company's rank rose from number 56 in 2007, to number 34 in 2008.

Chairman, President and CEO, K. "Suri" Suriyakumar, said: "That the company rose more than 20 places on the list speaks for itself, but what is most gratifying is to be recognized for returning impressive results in a challenging market. I'm very proud of our team."

To qualify for the "Best 200" list, companies must have annual revenues between $5 million and $750 million, and a stock price greater than $5 as of September 29, 2008. The ranking is based on return on equity, sales growth and profit growth over the past 12 months, and also over five years. American Reprographics ranked fifth in the 5-year average return on equity category. A complete list of the Top 200 companies can be found in the new October 27th print issue of the magazine or at www.forbes.com on the Web.
