Xeikon to Demonstrate its Latest Technology at Graph Expo

Itasca, IL, October 21, 2008 - Xeikon (www.xeikon.com), a division of Punch Graphix, legendary for pioneering the first digital color presses, today announced that the company will be demonstrating the Xeikon 8000, Xeikon's flagship digital color offering, at booth #3723 during Graph Expo 2008.

Xeikon will have a significant presence at this year's Graph Expo, taking place in Chicago, Illinois from October 26 to 29, 2008. The Xeikon 8000 was launched earlier this year at drupa 2008 and Graph Expo marks the first showing of this unparalleled digital color press at a major industry event in North America.

At Graph Expo, attendees are invited and encouraged to witness firsthand, the power of the Xeikon 8000 as it will be producing a variety of direct mail, transactional and photobook applications throughout the exhibition. Xeikon will also display a full range of samples printed on other products of the Xeikon family.
 
During Graph Expo, Xeikon booth will also include a "Green Corner" initiative to demonstrate the environmentally-friendly characteristics of Xeikon's dry toner technology. The Xeikon technology does not involve any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) and its printed output is easily recyclable. Xeikon is proud of the fact that right since its inception, the company has dedicated its efforts towards reducing the environmental impact of its products. As a result, Xeikon has won several environmental awards and received numerous certifications from prominent industry organizations. Xeikon's Green Corner will offer a wealth of information to attendees looking to have a positive impact on the environment.

The Xeikon 8000 has been designed with speed and productivity in mind. Web-fed, it prints full color multi-page documents at a top speed of 244 letter-size pages per minute and its exceptional uptime of 90% enables duty cycles of 9.0 million letter-size pages per month. The Xeikon 8000's high-precision LED-based imaging head features true 1200 dpi resolution and 1200 x 3600 dpi addressability with variable dot density, generating extraordinary image quality with sharp and crisp details, high definition, and smooth tone transitions. Specially developed Xeikon Productivity Adapted (PA) toner supports cost-effective impeccable print quality at high speeds.
