FUJIFILM Shipping Celebrant Extreme Workflow System with Enfocus PitStop Technology

April 10, 2001 BOSTON (Seybold) FUJIFILM Electronic Imaging Ltd. (FFEI)'s Celebrant Extreme Workflow solution is now shipping with Enfocus Software PitStop technologies, the two companies announced today. As a result, Celebrant Extreme Workflow System users will be able to utilize PitStop technologies to work with greatest efficiency within their PDF workflows, permitting interactive or automatic preflight, repair and editing to single or batch jobs. Celebrant Extreme is a PDF-enhanced version of the powerful CelebraNT Plus workflow system that automates the production processes of creating and imposing print-optimized PDF for output to proof, film and plate. Celebrant Extreme offers a guaranteed solution that supports both PDF and Adobe PostScript 3 workflows. Enfocus PitStop provides those using Celebrant Extreme the ability to interactively, manually, or automatically; preflight, repair and edit PDF documents, "even at the last minute," for cost-effective workflows. Celebrant Extreme's new Celebrant Primer software module, which enables customers to produce print ready PDF files, utilizes PitStop Library technology providing preflight functionality including auto-corrections such as trim, bleed and overprint from within the Celebrant Primer application. The specifications are managed through the JobTickets. "Celebrant Extreme offers users the most flexibility in format options without compromising features. We have included PitStop as one of the key workflow applications within the Celebrant Primer," says John Davies, FFEI's Software Business Manager. "We feel that PitStop offers numerous customer benefits which have already been proven in our CelebraNT Plus solution sites and now are more tightly integrated within CelebraNT Extreme."
