Global DocuGraphiX to Standardize on Four51 and TopForm

Press release from the issuing company

4/13/2001- Four51 announced today that Global DocuGraphiX (GDX) will standardize their operations on Four51's e-procurement service and TopForm's back-office accounting and inventory management software and pursue systems interoperability between the two companies' systems. Leveraging Four51's WildFireSM XML transport module and TopForm's WebEC, which will also be XML-enabled, Global DocuGraphiX distributors will provide Four51's front-office capabilities to their entire customer base, while automatically passing customer transaction data into their own TopForm forms management systems. "This is a tremendous opportunity for our distributors, and a huge benefit for our customers," said Rita Brock, GDX's vice-president of supply management. "Our customers want the benefits of custom catalogs, purchase authorizations, decentralized ordering and centralized control. At the same time, our distributors want process automation, efficiency, and higher margins. Working in tandem, Four51 and TopForm can meet both our customers' and our distributors' requirements." Four51 and TopForm announced their intentions to interoperate recently, and GDX is the first distributor organization to take advantage of the two companies' interoperability capabilities. "Global DocuGraphiX is one of our best customers," said Barry Brown, Four51's senior vice president of operations. "We're very pleased that they're committed to pursuing systems interoperability between Four51 and TopForm. We know there are significant process and productivity benefits to be gained for both Global DocuGraphiX and their customers."
