MCC Publishing Consultants Announces TextStream Project at Mobile Register

Rochester, MI MCC Publishing Consultants, Inc. has announced an agreement with The Mobile Register in Mobile, Alabama, to implement elements of its TextStream family of products for use in the export of ads to QuarkXPress. TextStream products are currently being used in Mobile between the newspaperís net-linx (formerly Sii) system and a Baseview publishing system at The Mississippi Press in Pascagoula, Mississippi. TextStream products are also being used by PersCombinatie Meulenhof (PCM) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, La OpiniÛn in Los Angeles, California, HL Communications, Inc. in Bloomfield, Hills, Michigan and in various web site implementations in Rochester and Troy, Michigan. The TextStream family of text and data manipulation tools are stand-alone products that don't require user intervention, making them ideal for use in scripts that run in the background or on a server. They are available for all platforms and are not dependent on any proprietary publishing system. The TextStream family of products is designed to be used in text processing and data conversion. MCC Publishing Consultants, Inc. is also just completing a development project with PersCombinatie Meulenhof in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, adapting TextCon, a member product in the TextStream group, for use with an additional publication.
