MGI CFO Resigns, Announces Management Change

TORONTO, ONTARIO April 10, 2001 MGI (TSE:MGI) today announced that Rodney S. Davis has left the Company effective immediately. ‘Since joining MGI, Rodney has spearheaded the introduction of many new processes and measures which have provided a valuable base for the Company to build on,” said Anthony DeCristofaro, MGI president and chief executive officer. A search for a new CFO has been launched and the Company expects to announce an appointment shortly.
