Boston, MA - Seybold Boston 2001 - April 10, 2001 FileFlow, Inc. - the developer of the world's fastest and most secure delivery and storage systems for digital image workflows across the Internet - has announced that Sir Speedy has chosen FastSend as the electronic file delivery vehi- cle for their Global Digital Network?. The integration will make FastSend available to nearly 700 Sir Speedy stores nationwide. FastSend is an Internet-enabled service that allows users to quickly transfer large, complex files even over low-bandwidth lines. By integrating FastSend technology into their Global Digital Network?, Sir Speedy will provide their customers with the most efficient file transfer capability available. "That's what it's all about," said Dan Beck, President of Sir Speedy. "Making it easier for our cus- tomers. We've created an easy-to-use, innovative web site that allows our customers to get job estimates, complete print orders, electronically store previously printed jobs, even design jobs online. It's truly a world-class interface. The only thing missing was an efficient way for our cus- tomers to get their files to us. That's where FastSend fits in." Sir Speedy recognized that, while many of their stores have broadband access for file transfer and reception, many of their customers do not. This posed a problem of convenience. "Nobody wants to spend two or three hours waiting for files to be FTP'd to their printer," said Ken Freedman, Executive Vice-President of FileFlow. "It's unnecessarily frustrating and very unproductive. By integrating FastSend into their websites, Sir Speedy owners will provide a more pleasant online expe- rience for their customers by transferring their files at speeds up to 20 times faster than what they're used to."
