Three Banta Integrated Media Staffers Speak at Seybold Seminars

Boston, MA; April 5, 2001 - Three staff members from Cambridge, MA-based digital content management and e-commerce software developer Banta Integrated Media have been selected to speak in various conference sessions during the Seybold Seminars Boston 2001 conference and exhibition at the Hynes Convention Center. The staff members, representing several of the software products Banta Integrated Media develops and markets, include Jodi Singer, Project Manager for the Banta Integrated Media Internet Services division, Katherine Reisz, Product Manager for variable data solutions, and Karen Anderson, Director of Product Management who focuses on Banta's B-media(TM) digital content management software. Karen Anderson, Director of Product Management at Banta Integrated Media, has been selected to participate in "Digital Asset Management Day," a one-day special interest seminar on Wednesday, April 11th. Anderson is participating in the sessions titled "The Many Faces of a DAM Solution" and "Ask How Roundtable: Optimizing Your DAM System for Results." In these sessions she'll provide an overview demonstration of the software and respond to audience questions about real world installations of digital asset management software, based on case history information and the experiences of various users of Banta's B·media digital content managemen software. Katherine Reisz is Product Manager for variable data solutions at Banta Integrated Media - including DesignMerge(TM) Web, which was selected as one of this year's "Hot Picks" by the Seybold Publications editorial staff. Reisz will be participating in April 9th's "On-Demand Day," another one-day special interest conference. She will demonstrate how server-based applications can enable sales and marketing staff to use web browsers to customize variable data documents and transmit them for print on demand. Reisz will highlight Banta customer case studies and sales and marketing benefits that companies have achieved. Jodi Singer, Project Manager for the Internet Services division of Banta Integrated Media, is speaking on Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. in a Web Publishing Conference session titled "Managing Web Projects and Teams." The session will be moderated by Nancy Erskine of Gartner Group. During the session Singer will present a case history about the relaunch of a major international corporation's website (Hewlett Packard) involving a redesign, new site structure, and localization into 10 languages -- all in two months. She will address issues including building and maintaining a motivated team, managing multiple client contacts, and spearheading the testing/QA process to produce a successful launch.
