FujiFilm Adopts MassTransit from Group Logic

Press release from the issuing company

Arlington, VA - April  10, 2001 - Group Logic, the leading vendor of network workflow software and services to the print media industry, announced today that Fujifilm has adopted Group Logic's MassTransit Service Provider Edition (SPE) 4.0 and Imagexpo SPE 3.0 software products as core, enabling components of the new myfujifilm.com Web site.  The Group Logic technologies will power key services offered by myfujifilm.com, including soft proofing, remote proofing, and advanced digital file transfer and management features. Announced in February by Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., myfujifilm.com is currently making its debut at Seybold Seminars Boston 2001. myfujifilm.com provides efficient digital asset management and communications solutions to the graphic arts industry, offering a cost-effective alternative to equipment, facility, and information technology purchases for companies that choose not to make capital investments in these resources. "Fujifilm selected MassTransit and Imagexpo because they offer unique benefits that precisely match our goal of delivering the highest quality tools and services," said David Murray, marketing director of myfujifilm.com.  "The comprehensiveness of Group Logic's workflow tools, combined with advanced Fujifilm technologies, our 24-hour support, and wide range of services, will help our customers boost productivity and profitability while increasing service quality and value." Group Logic provided custom integration services to assist Fujifilm with the incorporation of MassTransit SPE and Imagexpo SPE into myfujifilm.com.  Developed to provide the framework for Internet file transfer, proofing, and other job management services, the SPE versions are highly scalable to support large user populations. The fully customizable products can be seamlessly integrated with browsers and backend Web application servers. "We are delighted to work with myfujifilm.com," said T. Reid Lewis, president and a founder of Group Logic. "Working with our established products that reflect years of input by graphics industry leaders, we have formed a productive partnership to blend best-in-class technologies into a uniquely comprehensive service."
