Press release from the issuing company

Boston; Seybold; April 10th, 2001 - Harlequin(R), a subsidiary of Global Graphics (Nasdaq Europe: GLGR) has signed an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) agreement with Monotype Systems, a leading supplier of integrated Postscript(R) publishing solutions, for its Jaws(R) RIP software product. The Jaws RIP, a high performance PostScript Language Level III compatible interpreter, will be incorporated into Monotype Systems' PrePRESS product line and marketed under the name "Jaguar RIP" to drive the complete range of Panther imagesetters and FasTRAK CTP devices used in the newspaper and commercial printing industry. Monotype Systems provides a family of products for the publishing industry including RIPs, OPIs, output management, page tracking management systems, remote transmission solutions and the industry's most comprehensive line of CTP, Capstan and high-speed, high-quality drum imagers. The Jaws RIP is designed to support a wide range of system architectures and operating systems. It offers a compact and highly efficient 'kernel' interpreter and provides support for a number of page description languages, including PostScript, PCL and native interpretation of PDF files (without first converting the data to PostScript.) It provides almost unlimited flexibility for OEMs and users through its device class interfaces and provides support for a wide range of output devices, including rendering architecture, output format, and resolution and handshake requirements, which can be easily customized for an OEM's specific needs, devices and markets. Jim Freidah, chief operating officer of Global Graphics Software division says, "We are extremely pleased that the speed and quality of the Jaws RIP made it an attractive product to Monotype and we are delighted that they are joining our growing base of OEM customers."
