Press release from the issuing company

Palo Alto, Calif.-April 9, 2001-Artmachine, Inc. (www.artmachine.com), provider of customized brand content management solutions that enhance productivity and dramatically speed time to market of client promotional efforts, today announced an alliance with Kelmscott Communications LLC (www.kelmscottconnected.com), a national network of graphics communications businesses. The partnership will introduce Artmachine to thousands of potential new customers while providing the Kelmscott Communications Network with a new value-added digital service for clients. Under the terms of the partnership, Kelmscott Communications companies will offer a custom package of Artmachine's services as a value-added addition to graphics projects. Branded as AscentraSM ArtReady, the service provides an Internet-based, hosted venue for Kelmscott Communications Network companies and clients to organize, store and distribute digital brand elements, including collateral, advertising and point-of-purchase materials. The instant, universal availability of this critical brand content produces dramatic gains to clients in productivity and ultimately compresses sales cycles and enhances revenue. "Part of what has always given Kelmscott Communications its competitive edge is the company's ability to provide strategic value to its clients," said Pete Stein, vice president of sales, emarketing and new media for Kelmscott Communications. "Today's announcement of the partnership with Artmachine is validation of that ability. As graphic communications moves to a digital future, Kelmscott's emerging Ascentra New Media family of digital services is an important part of our direction, and Ascentra ArtReady represents a major example of that direction."
