Markzware and Ripfarm Announce Preflight Bundle

Ripfarm and Markzware have put together a robust hardware and software bundle that enables commercial printers to offer preflighting services to their customers. The hardware is a standard Intel Pentium-class server. The software includes Markzware's MarkzNet, a robust web server linked with a SQL database server and FTP server for file uploads. The powerful features of this bundle include: User database to allow users to register and create their own login accounts Easy and expert mode web interface to create preflight rules for preflighting Built-in preflight rules and the ability to add custom rules E-mail notifications to both those sending and receiving files FTP uploads of files Ability to create a custom job ticket Easy user customization of the look and feel of the web interface Optional links to Ripfarm services like online ripping, trapping, proofing, and proof markup Remote support by Ripfarm System can be customized and expanded beyond the base functionality by Ripfarm The Prepress Gateway can be plugged into a network and configured with a web browser by the user.
