Press release from the issuing company

3/01 - CeBIT 2001 Piezoelectric ink jet printer with Arizona 1100 Gretag Professional Imaging offers a 111-inch wide ink jet printer that uses special 3M inks and media for outdoor applications. It is capable of printing directly on a variety of 3M standard screen printing vinyl films and paper media. Resolution is up to 360 dots per inch. The printer uses drop-on-demand six-color printing technology for nearly continuous tone printing and allows for low-cost short print runs. It carries a three-year (unlaminated) outdoor warranty. The XES ColorgrafX X2 ink jet printer from Xerox Engineering Systems delivers extremely fast, high quality prints. It is able to handle high volumes and fulfils the high demands of graphic arts suppliers and corporate in-house print centers. The PixelCorrect technology used virtually eliminates banding even in the heavy duty mode which allows to print up to 40 square meters per hour. This ink jet printer delivers up to 1,370 mm wide and 100 meters long images, printed in six colors with 360 or 720 dots per inch. Multiple online media rolls increase the output. Unique oil-based inks reduce the turn-around time by delivering durable, smudge-proof, water-resistant prints.
