Document-based Workflow with SAPERION

3/01 - CeBIT 2001 - Fair highlights of the integrated eDMS- solution SAPERION for CeBIT 2001 are, amongst others, scenarios for document-based workflow, uses of the Universal Web Client, classification and intelligent form processing, knowledge portals and the first Unix-based SAPERION server. The current SAPERION version 4.5 with the Universal Web Client as a highlight allowing all eDMS functions including scanning, capturing, imaging, DMS, COLD, digital signatures, archiving and Docflow and Jukebox Management in the Web. SAPERION 4.5 is multi-platformed, based on a multi-tier-architecture and can be completely integrated in MS Office, MS Outlook and Lotus Notes, ERP systems like SAP R/3 or Navision and various Directory Services. The SAPERION AG DMS experts from Berlin — the former WIN!DMS GmbH became an AG (public stock corporation) and changed its name in February — are also currently in the process of developing scenarios for document based Workflow (DocFlow), which is fully integrated into SAPERION , easy to use, easy to install and easy to configure. DocFlow will be positioned as a solution for most popular business processes and workflows mostly in office environments. It solves typical applications as signing a document, routing a document through an office, reminding people of scheduled events etc.
