NUR Macroprinters Appoints Eli Shalev as VP of Research & Development

LOD, Israel, March 29, 2001 - NUR Macroprinters, (Nasdaq: NURM), a global market leader in wide and superwide digital printing solutions for out-of-home advertising, today announced a new addition to its senior management team. Eli Shalev, formerly a corporate Vice President at CreoScitex, joined the company earlier this month in the position of Vice President, Research and Development. In his new role at NUR Macroprinters, Shalev has assumed overall corporate responsibility for R&D including printer product development at NUR Macroprinters in Israel and in San Antonio (NUR Engineering USA) and ink development in conjunction with NUR Macroprinters' ink operations in Belgium. His initial focus will be on helping NUR Macroprinters to further leverage the R&D capabilities of its various development teams in order to shorten time to market of new products based on the best and most advanced technologies available.
