CyberRead Announces the Addition of 200 New eBooks

Seattle, WA - 3/29/01 - CyberRead, the nation's largest independent eBookstore and an established veteran in the eBook marketplace, today announced it has added 200 new eBooks in March that will dramatically expand CyberRead's online selection of eBook titles. The current list of newly added eBooks includes titles from iPublish.com at Time Warner and Domhan Books, among others. "We are very excited about these new offerings and we will be adding hundreds of new eBooks in the coming weeks from traditional publishers as well as new and compelling authors." said Marilyn Jenkins, President and CEO of CyberRead. CyberRead continues adding eBooks from numerous Publishers to their online catalog. Based on the wave of activity in the publishing world, the eBook technology is growing at a rapid pace and CyberRead is poised to be the premier marketplace for Adobe eBook Reader (formerly Glassbook) formatted eBooks from trade and independent publishers as well as self-published authors. "Internet publishing is undoubtedly the wave of the future. Electronic book sales are growing and CyberRead is at the forefront of this new industry," said Marilyn Jenkins, President and CEO of CyberRead. EBooks are the latest technology to take advantage of the convenience and instantaneous delivery of digital information provided by the Internet. Trade publishers are racing to provide the latest book releases in eBook format and are anticipating increased profit due to re-releases of in-print books into this digital format.
