New Recruits Helping httprint Land Top Accounts - Pepsi, Bank of America and More

Press release from the issuing company

3/28/01 (WhatTheyThink) After announcing significant revenue growth in the first quarter of 2001, httprint has revealed part of their strategy. Mark Porter, httprint's CEO said their full service approach has made their offering more attractive to potential clients. Securing key employees from top ad agencies also helps. "We have expanded substantially out of Los Angeles adding 10 new people. These people were recruited out of a top promo agency in Los Angeles and brought with them several marquee accounts including Pepsi, Zenith, Bank of America, Directv, Starz/Encore, Tracy Locke, Mandalay Entertainment and others." With their new offering of professional production management and consulting, which wraps around their ecommerce solution, httprint enters with certain agency services like creative, design and program development. Says Porter, "Our goal is to penetrate accounts from any number of different directions and then cross-sell the other products. Adoption rates for ecommerce are slower than expected not only in our space but in most others and it's this type of strategic move that sustains and fuels the company for the long haul." httprint is based in San Francisco. The company has offices scattered in major markets worldwide. httprint helps companies consolidate their print purchasing and ensures all purchasing groups buy from a central hub. The company has said their system "generates 20% - 40% savings for clients."
