Kinkos North Raleigh Location Named Branch of the Year

Press release from the issuing company

VENTURA, Calif.—(March 9, 2001) —About 30 co-workers from Kinko's North Raleigh branch in North Carolina don't have to show up for work this weekend. Instead, they are heading down to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. on a vacation reward paid for by Kinko's. This reward is part of being recognized as Kinko's "U.S. Branch of the Year," an honor given to one Kinko's location each year based on superior performance in customer service, sales growth and profitability. This year's winning branch is located at 908 Springfield Commons just off of Falls of the Neuse Rd. in Raleigh, N.C. In the absence of the branch's regular co-workers, customers will find Kinko's executives and members of the company's board of directors wearing the company's trademark blue aprons as they work at the branch on Friday, March 9. This morning, the North Raleigh co-workers caught their flight to a whirlwind weekend at Disney World, and the executives will step in. Executives staffing the branch include Dana Jennings, member of Kinko's board of directors and a Raleigh resident; Scott Seay, chief of field operations; and George Tamke, chief executive officer. Co-workers from other area branches will pitch in over the weekend to make sure the North Raleigh co-workers can concentrate on their reward. "The co-workers of the North Raleigh branch in Raleigh, N.C. have shown their commitment and loyalty to both their customers and Kinko's time and time again. I would like to personally thank all of these award-winning co-workers for their hard work and dedication," said Tamke. "The Kinko's management team is delighted to lend a helping hand while our North Raleigh co-workers enjoy a well-earned trip to Walt Disney World."
