March 20, 2001 - The Digital Printing for Packaging Conference will make its United States debut this June when this informative conference comes to the Hyatt Regency O'Hare near Chicago, Illinois. The conference is a joint effort of Pira International, the UK-based research center for the printing and packaging industries, and Cahners Printing, Publishing & Converting Group, publishers of Packaging Digest, Converting Magazine and Graphic Arts Monthly. This valuable two-day program covers a comprehensive range of technical and strategic developments in digital printing for the packaging industry. Only beginning to make a serious impact, digital printing is certain to revolutionize the packaging industry for suppliers, converters and consumer companies alike. This conference represents an exclusive opportunity to hear from leading companies throughout the packaging supply chain. Pira and Cahners have developed a program that draws together some of the most innovative market leaders in packaging. Senior decision makers from industry leaders such as Philip Morris, Eli Lilly, Fort Dearborn, CL&D, Xeikon and Indigo will present case studies on their own experiences of achieving bottom-line results from this digital printing technology This conference follows the highly successful European Digital Printing for Packaging Conference, held in London last summer. The program from last year's conference has been refined and improved to provide an incomparable forum of knowledge specifically tailored to the United States. The conference will take place at The Hyatt Regency Hotel at O'Hare International Airport - just 15 miles from downtown Chicago and adjacent to the largest airport in the country.
