New generation of ORIS products from CGS at GraphExpo

Press release from the issuing company

Hainburg, Germany / Minneapolis, MN (October 14, 2008) – At this year's GraphExpo in Chicago, October 26 - 26, CGS Publishing Technologies International will present its latest solutions for color management, proofing, certification and media.

ORIS Hybrid Proofing // Web

CGS will introduce a brand-new web-based version of its product line. The new ORIS Hybrid Proofing // Web allows users to control and track print jobs from anywhere in the world. The new user interface efficiently integrates ORIS Color Tuner, ORIS Soft Proof and ORIS Certified Proof, making it easier to manage and monitor global remote proofing applications which have become indispensable with the increasing popularity of embedded measurement devices. The intuitive and user-friendly interface allows users to work quickly and efficiently in a perfect closed-loop environment.

"At this year's GraphExpo we will present a completely new generation of our proofing software", says Trevor Haworth, CEO of CGS Publishing Technologies. "The new ORIS Hybrid Proofing // Web is our response to current market demands. Local solutions are no longer sufficient. Today we are increasingly asked for interconnected systems providing a collaborative working environment via the World Wide Web and a standard web browser."

ORIS Press Matcher Pro Will Demonstrate Consistent Color on a Wide Variety of Printing Devices on the CGS, Xerox and FujiFilm Booths

Based on ORIS Color Tuner and its patented iterative color management technology, ORIS Press Matcher Pro produces high-resolution files for digital presses, wide-format inkjet printers and offset presses by matching the color space of each device to a defined target color space. The result is standardized color no matter what printing process is used: offset, digital or inkjet. On the Xerox Booth # 1219, ORIS Press Matcher Pro will be integrated with the front-end systems of Xerox digital presses to create a highly automated workflow solution producing printed results supporting SWOP, GRACoL, G7 and Fogra standards.

In addition to the Xerox Booth ORIS Press Matcher Pro will be exhibited and demonstrated at FujiFilm Graphic Systems Booth # 4404.
