E-Color Hires Expert Michael Kieran to Head New Services Division

SAN FRANCISCO - (March 19, 2001) E-Color, the standard for the delivery of color you can trust on the Web, announced today that renowned color expert Michael Kieran has joined E-Color as vice-president of the company's new Services division, devoted to improve color production workflows from print to the Web. Mr. Kieran will be responsible for heading the division that provides consulting and training on color management, color correction, and color production workflow. Developed to educate potential and existing customers in many aspects of color, E-Color's Services division addresses the issues of color quality and productivity increases that are available in color-managed workflows as well as help companies realize increased value from their existing visual assets, thereby turning pixels into profits. Resulting from the use of color management systems based around the industry-standard ICC (International Color Consortium) color profile format during the past five years, many leading publishers have significantly improved their color quality while reducing turnaround times and proofing costs. E-Color's Services division is unique in its ability to help customers not only implement ICC-based systems, but also apply the best color correction and color workflow practices for their particular production environment.
