Ennis Announces New Equipment to Increase Capabilities

Press release from the issuing company

3/30/01 Ennis’ Chatham, VA facility recently announced their addition of a 24” three color press and a laser press that are designed to increase productivity. The 24” three color press offers high quality offset printing with numerous numbering, punching and perfing capabilities. This new press can produce numerous size forms—2,3,4,6,8, and 12 inches up to 20 inches wide. It can run either roll to roll or roll to fold, which allows the Chatham facility to be more efficient for their customers and competitive in the marketplace. The Heath Laser press was purchased due to customer demands for faster delivery time. It is one of three laser presses the Chatham facility has that will manufacture laser cut sheet checks. With the addition of this press, Chatham will be able to offer fast deliveries of two to three days on imprinted laser checks. David Gusler, Chatham General Manager, said, “We want our customers to know we are always striving to better serve them. We believe this equipment will allow Chatham to print quality products more efficiently and provide faster delivery.”
