Wednesday, March 14, 2001

Press release from the issuing company

Cardiff, CA YouWorkIt, provider of web-based image communication, review and approval systems for printers, advertisers, and other graphic applications, has been chosen by Printable, a TriPort Technologies Inc. company, to provide an on-line proofing and collaboration tool for use by printers and their customers. Printers' customers will be able to access, review, and annotate soft proofs on a secure website using YouWorkIt's patent-pending Recorded Review Process. YouWorkIt communication tools will be incorporated in Printable's Internet-based "Printer's Dashboard." YouWorkIt CEO Bill Volk notes, "We've designed the only graphics communication system that will give any customer, graphics professional or not, a fast, accurate proof and a simple way to provide clear visual feedback and approval on all Internet browsers. Printers have been suffering for too long with barely legible faxes of proofs, cumbersome and expensive correction cycles, and--worst of all--horrendous rework costs. “Don't fix the blame, fix the problem,”is our motto. We want printers to have satisfied customers and we want to save them money. "Being part of Printable's suite of services gives us tremendous leverage in reaching the graphics arts and printing industry, and at the same time, adds value to Printable's production and customer relationship tools." “By partnering with YouWorkIt, Printable will bring the power of YouWorkIt’s easy-to-use collaborative markup tools into our Printer’s Dashboard and PrintOne customer centers,” said Stu Clifton, CEO of Printable. “Our relationship with YouWorkIt is in direct response to our customers' need to work with their customers “the print buyers” in better ways.”
