Corel to Bundle Graphics Applications with HP Scanners

Ottawa, Canada – Mar 13, 2001Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: CORL, TSE: COR) is pleased to announce that a host of Corel photo manipulation and creative applications will be bundled with the HP Scanjet 7400c series of scanners from Hewlett-Packard Company. This latest offering will combine Corel PHOTO-PAINT 8 for Mac and Corel Print Office™ 2000 PC with the HP Scanjet 7400c, 7450c, and 7490 scanners. Two Corel graphics powerhouses – CorelDRAW 9 for Windows and CorelDRAW 8 for Mac – will also be included on the feature-rich HP Scanjet 7490c scanners. Featuring HP's exclusive scanning technology that offers 2400-dpi optical resolution, the HP Scanjet 7400c series scanners allow office professionals to use images to create impressive documents. All three models of the scanners come with a lighted transparency adapter for scanning 35mm slides, negatives and transparencies up to 5x5 inches.
