Konica Showcases Unify Konica from AHT at OnDemand

Press release from the issuing company

WINDSOR, Conn. Feb. 26, 2001 Konica Business Technologies, Inc., the innovation leader in digital imaging solutions, will demonstrate Unify Konica, a new digital print server from Advanced Hi-Tech Corporation (AHT) designed for use with the 7075 and Force 75 Production Printing Systems, at the On-Demand Digital Printing & Publishing Strategy Conference & Exposition (On-Demand), Feb. 28 to March 2. "We are extremely excited to be able to offer Unify Konica. This systemís mission is critical to high-volume printing. Unify Konica can cluster from two to ten engines to increase output, provide speed redundancy and volume handling capability," said Kevin Kern, vice president, product development and support, Konica Business Technologies, Inc. Unify Konica is targeted for central reprographic departments, print-for-pay environments, networked offices, and production printing settings. Unifyís clustering features for splitting jobs, copies, and documents across multiple printers improve production speeds. By utilizing the network connection, the system successfully eliminates distance limitations between the server and the connected printers. In addition, Unify Konica offers optional document management tools for impositions, variable data printing, and book making.
