EverGreene Tag & Label Group Hires Senior Account Manager; Adds GMs for Converting Operations

Birmingham, Ala. – EverGreene Tag & Label Group has hired Lou Kiernan as Senior Account Manager for the Upper Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States, along with national opportunities that fit his expertise. He will be responsible for effectively planning, organizing, and conducting all related sales activities, and be based out of Knoxville, Tenn.

“Lou is a strong performer and has consistently demonstrated successful results throughout his career,” said Mike Vejar, VP of Sales and Marketing. “He has worked with original equipment manufacturers and consumer product goods companies of all sizes. He also brings an effective technical background that will assist our existing and potential customers with their needs for decorative and functional graphics involving nameplates, overlays, labels, and die-cut components.”

Kiernan has over 30 years of experience serving a wide range of industrial and CPG markets. A highlight of his career is his focus on optimizing expansion opportunities and account retention through effective account planning and business review processes involving value engineering, product design and development, and part consolidation/harmonization.

Prior to joining EverGreene Tag & Label Group, Kiernan served as Business Development Manager for GM Nameplate, a provider of graphic overlays, capacitive touch, backlighting, elastomer devices, optical encoders, and positive temperature coefficient heaters. Kiernan was responsible for developing and servicing business with original equipment manufacturers and tier-one suppliers in the appliance and automotive markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind.

EverGreene Tag & Label Group has also named Greg Leighty as General Manager for its Dixie Labels converting operation in Ooltewah, Tenn., and named Brad Tullock as General Manager for its ALG Labels & Graphics converting operation in Birmingham, Ala.

Leighty most recently served as plant manager with Multi-Color Corporation at its facility in Norwood, Ohio. He executed full plant responsibility for the operation, which produced $50 million in annual sales. His career covers 28+ years in the printing and packaging industry. He is skilled in print management, pre-press, digital printing, variable data printing, web, litho, flexo, and gravure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Arts Management, with an emphasis in printing management, from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.

Tullock brings 25+ years of printing and packaging experience to his new role as general manager for the ALG Labels & Graphics operation. Prior to joining ALG Labels & Graphics, he was general manager with Fort Dearborn Corporation at its sheet-fed lithographic plant in Sparks, Nev., where he had direct responsibility for profit and loss performance for the plant, with 115 employees and annual production of $30+ million. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Ky.
