httprint and Movaris Deliver Paperless Solutions to Fortune 500 Companies

Press release from the issuing company

Feb. 26, 2001 - In an effort to streamline paper-based business processes, improve tracking and management, reduce errors and promote cost-savings in corporate enterprises, httprint Inc., today announced an agreement with Movaris to deliver the company's paperless process management solution to Fortune 500 companies. Under terms of the agreement, httprint, the full service provider for the print and publishing industry, will resell Movaris' Office Courier solution to business customers looking to eliminate costly and time-intensive paper-based transactions. Movaris' Office Courier takes advantage of easy, inexpensive online technologies, including Acrobat Reader, to put forms-driven processes onto the Web and connect individuals involved in the business process approval cycle. Movaris enables businesses to quickly upload and create corporate forms online as easy-to-use PDF (portable document format) files. Using their Web browser, Office Courier users can complete, sign, deliver and even approve paperwork online, anywhere anytime. "httprint is a trusted printing services provider, offering customers efficient, reliable Web-based print solutions at affordable prices," said Steve Yankovich, president of Movaris. "httprint is a natural channel to resell our Office Courier product because the company recognizes the cost-savings of paperless solutions - reduced error, less paper waste and faster turn-around - and is already helping customers realize these benefits." According to the Gartner Group, $360 billion is spent annually on processing data from forms. A recent study funded by Microsoft showed that paper forms cost organizations more than $165 per transaction.
