HP and TAG Marketing & Recruiting Present Session at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO —  An upcoming session at Graph Expo promises to answer the question weighing on all print service providers’ minds: how do I maintain—and even grow—my business during tough economic times?

HP and Rob Seaver, vice president of business development for TAG Marketing & Recruiting, team up to deliver an informative session Sunday, October 26, 2008, about niche marketing and the three basic steps that print service providers can take to ensure their success: finding a niche, developing a solution and delivering your goal.

“As a member of the graphic arts community and the Dscoop, I’ve always benefited from the free exchange of ideas with my colleagues,” Seaver said. “My company has found success through marketing in the home health care industry, and I’d like to challenge my peers to find a niche market of their own in which they can be successful.”

Attendees from print businesses of all types and sizes will receive valuable guidance for driving growth and withstanding economic hardships. Seaver will give a broad overview of how to survive the unknown, as well as specific examples of how to turn a business around, citing real-life success stories, including TAG Marketing & Recruiting itself. TAG has a growth rate of over 200 percent and has earned recognition as one of the fastest growing, privately-owned companies in the U.S.

“Having a plan, knowing how to sell digital, and building a community of people around you to help you be more creative and expand your options is essential to success in this marketplace,” said Francis McMahon, director of marketing for HP U.S. Graphic Arts. “We wholly support our customers and are offering this session as a way to develop and guide their strategies for growth in the rapidly evolving arena of digital print.”

The session, entitled “Excelling in a Struggling Economy,” will be held 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. CDT, October 26 at McCormick Place South, 4th floor, Room S403ab. Lunch will be available.
