Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK – February 28, 2001 – Imation Corp. (NYSE: IMN) and Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today announced the availability of the Imation MatchprintTM Professional Server—a color raster image processor (RIP) providing network connectivity to the Xerox DocuColor 12 printer/copier. The first product offering from the Imation/Xerox alliance, the Matchprint Professional Server enables content creators, prepress and print professionals to produce high-quality comps, proofs, and prints that consistently and accurately simulate Imation’s industry-standard Matchprint color proofing systems. Imation and Xerox will offer live demonstrations of the Imation Matchprint Professional Server/Xerox DocuColor 12 in Xerox’s booth (#1323) during the On Demand Conference and Exposition held February 28 – March 2, 2001, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. “Imation listened closely to customer input when designing the Imation Matchprint Professional Server, and leveraged its unparalleled color technology accordingly,” stated John Schloff, general manager, Network Color Solutions Organization, Imation Color Technologies. “The result is fast, accurate and consistent output that expands in-house color capabilities and improves overall workflow for the creative, prepress and commercial printing industries.”
