R&E Council Cooperates with Other Industry Associations

White Stone, VA, February 2001- The Research & Engineering Council of the Graphic Arts Industry has announced that in 2001it will participate in two conferences of interest to the printing and graphic arts industries. The meetings will focus on prepress technologies and on environmental, health and safety issues. The 2001 National Environmental, Health & Safety Conference sponsored by the Flexographic Technical Association, the Gravure Association of America, the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation, the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers, and the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association International will be held March 25-27, 2001, at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Saint Louis, Missouri. The R&E Council has joined nearly 30 other state, regional and national associations in promoting the conference to its members. The 2001 Premedia Technical Conference an annual meeting conducted by the International Prepress Association will be held May 15-17, 2001, at the Ambassador West Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. The R&E Council is an affiliate sponsor of the IPA meeting, and R&E Council members are eligible for discounted conference participation.
