Friday, February 23, 2001

Press release from the issuing company

EDMONTON, Feb. 22 - mBase.com Inc. ("mBase") (CDNX: MBM - news), an innovator of automated publishing and e-Commerce solutions, is pleased to announce that they are revealing their integrated technology together with their strategic vertical partner, ACCPAC International, Inc. ("ACCPAC"), at the ACCPAC Winter Expo 2001 in Portland, Toronto, Ottawa, London, Hamilton and Kitchener. This marketing tour provides the opportunity for mBase and ACCPAC to reveal how its integrated software solution offers a substantial sales advantage from other traditional competing accounting software applications. Access Medical Inc. ("Access"), a distributor of automated external defibrillators, medical equipment and supplies, has entered into a contract with Stonefield Systems Group, an ACCPAC and mBase value added reseller, for the implementation of ACCPAC eTransact and mBase IntelliCat. This integrated solution allows Access the ability to produce their print catalogs, flyers, eCommerce enabled CD-ROMs and touch screen kiosks to support their new marketing initiatives. "By utilizing the mBase technology, Access will be able to reduce production costs on its marketing material, thus allowing us to develop a web based store at virtually no extra cost," stated Jeffrey Calibaba, President and CEO of Access. "Bundling mBase IntelliCat with ACCPAC eTransact eliminates the financial risk associated with investing in an online store", stated Reg Cheramy, Chief Technology Officer for mBase, "We can turn pre-press production time from months to minutes, thereby saving valuable marketing dollars to invest into an eCommerce strategy."
