Commercial/Direct Group Announces New Organizational Structure

Greenwich, CT –2/22/01 Quebecor World is pleased to announce the following changes to its Commercial and Direct Organizational Structure. The combination of Quebecor World’s Commercial and Direct Mail Groups in North America has created the largest operation of its kind with sales in excess of $1,000,000,000. These combined operations will allow us to better service our customers and further facilitate our manufacturing strategy of increased plant specialization and equipment utilization. This reorganization is about bringing clarity to the market and creating better solutions for our clients. The following new assignments are effective immediately: Fran Canzano, the President of our New England Group, consisting of Acme, Universal and Packaging Graphics, will assume additional responsibilities for Northeast Graphics and Infiniti Graphics. He will be responsible for the leadership of this Group, reporting directly to Brian Sullivan, President, Commercial/Direct Group. Mike Graham, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will lead a focused effort on all personalized products. He will be responsible for growing this specialty market and introducing our products to prospective and existing clients. Clint Humphrey will take on the new role as Executive Vice President of Operations for our Direct Group. His new responsibilities will be focused on the three facilities: Effingham, Oakwood and Atlanta, where he will assume manufacturing and P & L responsibilities. Jim Petritz, Senior Vice President of National Sales for the Commercial/Direct Group, will focus on developing an organized sales and marketing effort to expand the QW platform on a local, regional, and national level. His knowledge of the breadth and depth of QW products will enable us to grow existing clients and potential clients and expand the QW Sales platform. George Platia, in his role of Executive Vice President of Operations, will assume the P & L responsibility for the following facilities: Central Florida Press, Oberlin, Wessel in Chicago, and Eagle in Kansas City. Mr. Platia will continue to maintain manufacturing responsibility for all Commercial and Direct locations. Dennis Savitsky, Vice President of Finance and Administration for Commercial/Direct, will oversee all aspects of Financial Operations for both Groups and in addition will have financial responsibility for the Canadian Specialty Group. Aivars Beikmanis, President of Canada Specialty Group; Randy Ginsberg, President of George Rice and Sons in Los Angeles, California; and Herb Sayers, President of Sayers in St. Louis, Missouri, will continue to lead their operations and report directly to Brian Sullivan.
