CAMBRIDGE, MA, and FOSTER CITY, CA — February 21, 2001 — Electronics for Imaging, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFII), and Pageflex, Inc., announced today a worldwide software development and licensing agreement to offer customers more robust, industry standard variable data printing (VDP) solutions. Under the agreement, the companies plan to incorporate Pageflex VDP technologies into EFI products to be distributed through EFI channels. The companies will demonstrate their solutions at the Pageflex and EFI On Demand booths, #1465 and #1641. “Pageflex has a strong reputation for quality solutions in the evolving field of variable data printing through their Persona™ and Mpower™ products,” said Ghilad Dziesietnik, Vice President of Core Technology at EFI. “ EFI is committed to promoting open VDP standards to provide our customers the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible tools for personalization and customization in printing.
