GOprinter.com to Close Down, Will Transfer Clients to Other ASPs

Press release from the issuing company

2/20/01 (WhatTheyThink) - Siting market conditions, GOprinter.com will wind down operations and should be completely closed by March. According to those familiar with GOprinter's situation, investors were not willing to continue funding the company. GOprinter.com explored possible purchasers, but an agreement was unable to be reached. The company's customers will be transferred to other unspecified ASP businesses. GOprinter was an eBusiness infrastructure provider targeting distributors and manufacturers. The ASP enabled the industry's manufacturers and distributors to conduct e-commerce with their customers and suppliers. The company announced several deals last year including signing up FujiFilm as a client and a development alliance with MicroInk. The company had about 25 employees and has laid off all but 11. The remaining employees will help with the transition of their client base.
