iGetSmart.com Shifts Focus to Enterprise Wide Solution, To Show Profit By April

Press release from the issuing company

2/16/01 - (WhatTheyThink) - iGetSmart, a wholly owned division of Workflow Management, will enter into enterprise wide solutions for corporate accounts. iGetSmart provides end to end, web based solutions for clients typically associated with the purchasing and fulfillment of print and office consumables. Tom Scott, Vice President of Marketing for Workflow, said their corporate accounts have pushed iGetSmart into an interesting and obvious opportunity. “iGetSmart offers real time solutions for the purchase of any item, not just print. With our 16 distribution centers, we can provide front end management with true back end support for the entire purchasing aspect of a company.” Scott would not say which clients will expand the service to other areas of their business, but did say that agreements are imminent. Scott continued, “Our organization helps businesses focus on their core services. We have been into accounts with 6000 users who had the power to order services. iGetSmart provides control to the company and streamlines the entire purchasing process.” iGetSmart expects to show a profit by the end of the quarter. (April 2001) The company has about 10 sales reps on the street and around 80 employees. Scott says the slowing economy has not hurt them in any way. “Don’t get me wrong, no one benefits in a very slow economy. But when cash flow becomes tight, our solution must be considered. Large firms usually reverse entrenched attitudes when times are tough.”
