Presstek Expands Customer Support Organization

Hudson, NH February 8, 2001 Presstek, Inc., the leading developer of thermal direct imaging (DI) and printing plate technologies for the printing and graphic arts industries, today announced that it has expanded its customer service organization to support the company's new DI enabled presses, thermal plates, and CTP systems. A new demonstration and training center including Presstek-enabled Xerox DI presses, Presstek Dimension CTP systems, and a conventional press utilizing Presstek Anthem? thermal plates; will further support customer service objectives. Adjacent to the company's 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing and administration plant, the new Presstek Customer Support organization operates out of a new 50,000 square foot facility that also houses the company‚s executive offices. Presstek's Customer Support Organization offers both end-users and dealers a wide range of services including applications training, product demonstrations, equipment service training, and technical support. "Presstek's new ProFire imaging technology has resulted in new DI products, partners and customers, and a commitment to bolster our service capability to meet everyone‚s needs on a worldwide basis," explains Efrem Lieber, VP of Sales, Marketing and Customer Support.
