IDEAL Rolls Out New Web Based Dealer Program

Thursday, February 08, 2001

Press release from the issuing company

February 6, 2001, Rockville, MD - IDEAL.com rolls out a new dealer plan for 2001. The I/DEALer Program centers on IntraNETIX, a powerful large format document management software that allows for easy, browser-based access to any black and white or color document in a secure Intranet/Internet environment. The addition of IntraNETIX to IDEAL's rich product line gives dealers an innovative solution to help increase sales in the CAD, AEC, FM, Manufacturing, GIS and Reprographics markets, as well as the Office and Multifunctional Copier markets. Of course, all of IDEAL's traditional products, including large format scan to index solutions, scan to print solutions, scanning editing tools and more are part of the I/DEALer Program. "With IntraNETIX, IDEAL offers traditional large format scanner dealers a way to differentiate themselves in the marketplace." says Jay Magenheim, President, "It opens up new market possibilities that allow the dealer to customize large format archive storage and on-line image access for their customers. The web has made for tougher competition and lower margins overall, but with IntraNETIX, dealers have an opportunity to use the power of the web for secure document viewing, whether intranet or Internet, and they can reap the benefits of residual income from installation and enhancement programs." IDEAL plans to limit the number of Partners based upon geographic and vertical markets, so there is an application and qualification process. Dealers should get their Partner application in early to be part of the I/DEALer network.
