GCA Rehires Former PrintNation Exec - David Steinhardt

Alexandria, VA -2/8/01 - the Graphic Communications Association (GCA), sponsor of the XML and SPECTRUM Conferences, is pleased to announce the appointment of David J. Steinhardt as Senior Vice President. Mr. Steinhardt, a seasoned veteran of the printing and imaging industries with nearly two decades of experience in the field, returns to GCA where he worked from 1985 to 1990 as Vice President and COO. Throughout his accomplished career in executive positions for printing and imaging associations, Steinhardt has forged solid business relationships with all segments of the industry, including printers, dealers, manufacturers and associations. Steinhardt also is widely regarded for his innovative ventures in training and education, image building and standards development in the industry. He serves on a number of advisory and standards committees for industry associations and has spoken at numerous industry conferences. "David brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to GCA," says Norman W. Scharpf, President and CEO of GCA. "We are honored to have him back, and we all look forward to working with him." He also served as the first President and CEO of the North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA), Vice President and COO of GCA and Director of Member Programs for Printing Industries of America (PIA).
