Wallace Named Service Vendor of the Year By The Sports Authority

Press release from the issuing company

Lisle, IL, 2/6/01 - Wallace was recently chosen by The Sports Authority (TSA) as their first “Supply and Services Vendor of the Year.” Wallace was one of only 11 Sports Authority vendors to receive a V.I.C.T.O.R. (Vigor, Intelligence, Competitiveness, Tenacity, Optimism and Resolve) award, which was previously reserved for TSA’s merchandise vendors. Past merchandise winners have included Nike Inc., Reebok International Ltd., and Champion Products Ltd. The award, which was presented at the 2001 Sports Authority Leadership Conference and Expo on January 16, was based on Wallace’s overall performance in supply and customer service. Using its Total Print Management strategy, Wallace has supplied TSA with forms, labels, register rolls, and commercial printing for the past 13 years. The commercial printing projects typically involve kitting and distribution for TSA’s 199 stores, as well as storage for a pre-determined amount of stock, which is released as needed. With the imminent roll-out of @w.i.n.™, Wallace’s proprietary on-line print management system, Wallace will also provide TSA’s business cards and stationery. “The Wallace team works hard to provide superior service to The Sports Authority, and it’s nice to see that we are succeeding,” said Rich Goos, Wallace sales account representative. “We will continue to work on finding new ways to strengthen an already-strong 13-year relationship.”
